Hi, I'm Bas.

I'm a Dutch-American freelance director and filmmaker based in New York. I've spent more than two decades making films about people: who they are, what they make, and why it matters to them. Sometimes I’ll direct large crews on big sets for clients and other times take the camera and edit into my own hands.
